Leslie R. Williams
 is an experienced Virtual Bankruptcy Assistant with At The Beach Paralegal Services who works with Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys in the preparation and filing of bankruptcy petitions in FL (all 3 districts) and several other states.

With over 24 years of experience as a paralegal, Leslie understands what it takes to work successfully with each of her attorney clients, i.e., professionalism, communication, attention to detail, performing due diligence, top notch customer service and much more.

Some of Leslie’s past experience has been in the following:

Civil Litigation (Automobile dealer action against a major foreign car manufacturer)

1. Research and preparation of 12 complaints in over 4 different U.S. Districts (inCalifornia,Louisiana,Arizona and Florida). Research was performed to support the arguments within the complaint.

2. Research re the proper procedures to follow for submitting the above-referenced complaints to the Multi-District Court in Washington,D.C.for transfer to the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, Orlando Division.

1. Preparation of Motions for Relief of Stay and Abandonment, Consents, Affidavits of Indebtedness, Objections to Confirmation of Chapter 13 Plan, Proofs of Claim, Notices of Appearance, correspondence to opposing counsel and much more.

Leslie is also a writer, entrepreneur and Internet marketing expert (inducted into the 30 Day Challenge Hall of Fame in 2008) with over 24 years experience in the small business and paralegal fields. She has published and authored “Insider’s Secrets…How to Break Into the Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant and Paralegal Field”, several articles and blogs, one of which was featured in 2008 in the Depo.com newsletter (“Whaddya Mean You Missed the Deadline?”). Leslie and her husband, Ed, also co-authored an article for Tallahassee Parent Magazine. Most recently, Leslie was a contributing author to the Paralegal Today Magazine’s round table discussion concerning the utilization of Virtual Paralegals in today’s legal marketplace.

Leslie R. Williams is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, the National Association of Virtual Bankruptcy Assistants and the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Group. She holds a Masters and Bachelors Degree in Biblical Studies from Maranatha Christian College, an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Tulsa Community College in Tulsa, Oklahoma and a Paralegal Certificate from the University of Southern Colorado at Pueblo.


Ed Williams

Ed Williams is an experienced Virtual Bankruptcy Assistant with At The Beach Paralegal Services. He prepares and files bankruptcy petitions for Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. Ed received formal training as a Debtor Bankruptcy Specialist.

Memberships: National Association of Virtual Bankruptcy Assistants; Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Group and the American Bankruptcy Institute.

As a management consultant, Ed has assisted numerous law firms and other small businesses in Tallahassee, Jacksonville and Daytona Beach over the past 9 years in the areas of strategic planning for business growth and profit improvement.

Areas of expertise include budget development, performance analysis, HR, Systems and facilities planning and website marketing, including SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and client traffic building.

In his earlier career, Ed was a Chemical Engineer and Manufacturing Plant Manager with Allied Signal, Inc. He worked throughout theU.S.and in France managing new plant start-ups. In Catoosa, Oklahoma, Ed managed all aspects of the 300 employee Automotive Catalyst plant which supplied all major auto manufacturers worldwide.

Ed has a B.ChE. in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Ed is TQM (Total Quality Management) certified, is a certified Quality Circles instructor, and has completed training in ISO 9000, Emergency Media Response, AMA Interpersonal Skills and Manufacturing Plant Management.
